I created this site to help people who have been recently diagnosed with diabetes. I was diagnosed in October, 2009 and to be quite honest, I was scared. After taking the time to become educated about diabetes, and developing a routine, I realized that this disease was not something to be afraid of, but something that has led me to increase the quality of my life exponentially.
